At least 124 dead as plane skids off runway & smashes into concrete wall before exploding in fireball in South Korea #6

AT LEAST 124 people have been killed after a passenger plane skidded off the runway and crashed into a concrete wall before exploding in a fireball.

The horrific scenes unfolded when a Boeing 737-800’s landing gear appeared to fail as it hit the tarmac atย South Korea’s Muan Airport.

Footage showed the doomed flight’s final moments as it hurtled off the runway.

The packed jet – Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 – was carrying 181 passengers from Bangkok,ย Thailand, to the southwestern city.

Firefighters said two people had, miraculously, survived after the plane was incinerated in a fireball.

But, the remaining 179 are presumed dead with the confirmed death toll steadily climbing as bodies are pulled from the smouldering wreckage.
