Trump slammed for ‘misogynistic’ response to female reporter asking him a question #9

Donald Trump has come under fire for making a ‘misandrist’ remark when a female journalist asked him a question.

The president has quite the track record when it comes to making crude and often s3xist remarks about women, particularly political rivals or reporters holding him to account.

Here’s the man who notoriously declared that he could do ‘whatever’ he wanted, including ‘grabbing [women] by the p****,’ according to a leaked audio tape that was rediscovered in 2016.

To mention a few, Trump has also made offensive remarks against Miss Universe, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, female House representatives like Nancy Pelosi, comedian Rosie O’Donnell, The Apprentice contestants, and even his own daughter.

Now, using his old chauvinist tactics, the 79-year-old calls a journalist “darling” while dismissing her inquiry.

“What role do you see for the United States as China defends its presence in Latin America?” the reporter asked Trump at the White House.

The POTUS then turned to Vice President JD Vance and said: “I just like to watch her talk.”

He then said to the journalist: “Good job. Thank you darling.”

Dozens have since m0cked his response as ‘patronising’ and ‘misogynistic’.

“This is not just dismissive,” penned one on Twitter. “It’s a strategic act of rhetorical control that reframes inquiry as entertainment, undermines professional legitimacy, and reinforces a gendered power dynamic in public discourse. It mirrors the entertainment industry.”

Another commented: “No idea why every member of that press corp doesn’t all just leave en masse when he comes out with patronising, misogynistic s*** like this.”

It’s also not the first time Trump has commented on a journalist’s appearance.

In 2017, he paused a diplomatic call with the then Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to beckon RTE presenter Caitriona Perry over to his desk.

Trump has also made yet another sarcastic remark about his own White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, in just the last week.

After signing off on a peace deal between Israel and Hamas earlier this week, the president randomly started talking about the 28-year-old’s appearance, stating: “That face… and those lips. They move like a machine gun, right?”

He made the same comment about Leavitt’s mouth back in August.

Meanwhile, those beyond his circle seem to be the subject of s3xist insults.

Additionally, he made fun of Arianna Huffington’s divorce and claimed that she was “unattractive both inside and out” as the editor of the Huffington Post.

In a barely veiled jab at Bill Clinton’s affair, he also said on Twitter that Clinton couldn’t “satisfy” her husband. He then said that “blowjobs impacted” Clinton and Harris’ careers, accusing the politicians of moving up the political ladder through sexual favors.
