A Mother’s Choice

I have two sons:
👉 James – kind, hardworking, honest.
👉 Dan – lazy, selfish, always charming just enough to get by.

When Dan married Lara, an amazing woman, I prayed she’d change him. But one night, I overheard him on the phone:
“She’ll be at work, babe… dinner and the hotel after.”

He was cheating. On Lara.

Instead of keeping quiet, I picked Lara up and told her everything. Her face went pale, but she didn’t cry.
“Let’s catch him in the act,” she said.

That night, we followed him. At the hotel, Lara grabbed his phone and went LIVE:
“This is who Dan really is. A liar. A cheater.”

His sponsors dropped him. His career crumbled. He begged for forgiveness.

I looked him in the eyes and said:
“I’m choosing what’s right over you.”

Sometimes, you lose a son… but gain a daughter. And I’d choose her every single time.
