Sweet Revenge in Tenerife #7

On my solo trip, I finally found peace—sunsets, ocean air, and the tiramisu I’d been dreaming about.

But just as I took a bite, a mother at my table snapped:
“Stop eating that in front of our kids—it sets a bad example.”

When I came back from refilling my water, my dessert was gone. She’d lied to the waiter and had it taken away.

So, I got even. I ordered the resort’s entire chocolate celebration cake—with sparklers. The kids cheered, she turned pale, and I savored every bite while she stormed out.

The next morning, I watched the sunrise with leftover cake and thought:
The best revenge? Enjoying life—extra sweet.
