Italian Prime Minister’s reaction to Donald Trump walking into room leaves people seriously divided #7

Social media users are declaring that the Italian Prime Minister was caught issuing a disastrous reaction to Donald Trump walking into a G7 Summit meeting.

A number of political conferences will organize in Albany, Canada this week, with leaders from the United States, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, India, Australia, and Brazil coming together.

The group meet annually to debate global economic and geopolitical issues, as well as ongoing warfare.

Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni – the first woman to hold the position in the country is representing Italy at the roster of meetings. Moreover, Emmanuel Macron will represent France as its President.

Howerver, a polemical clip of the pair has been doing the rounds online in recent hours, which critics claim displays Meloni reacting to Macron pointing out that US President, Donald Trump, had just walked in.

In the video, the French leader can be seen bowing in towards his Italian counterpart and covering his mouth with his fist.

The summit’s camera then pans to Trump, 79, walking in.

Italian leader Meloni can then be heard listening keenly before abruptly turning to Macron, eyes wide. The 48-year-old then appears to smirk before leaning away and rolling her eyes at the Frenchman’s cryptic comment.

Sharing the clip, one social media user wrote: “This is the moment when Macron tells Meloni that the local [clown face emoji] entered the global room.

“The face of the Italian Prime Minister says it all.”

Laughing in agreement, another commented: “I love her expressions!”

“When the smelly kid in class that no one likes comes in,” a third said.

Another journalist undertook to confirm that Meloni’s eye-roll was aimed at Trump, writing in the comments: “Well, I spoke to her team and know the insights. The face is correct.”

The clip sparked discussion others, however, with many pointing out that Meloni could actually be directing her sassy attitude in Macron’s direction, being that she’s considered a right-wing politician, like Trump.

“Ironically, Meloni is probably more fond of Trump, than she is of Macron,” one MAGA fan commented online.

Another continued: “And yet, she’s more likely to agree with trump on policy than Europe. Making something out of nothing. Typical.”

A third declared: “Nonsense, she is a Trump supporter.”

Another added, ‘She hates macron’, whilst a fourth went on to say: “BS. She hates Macron.”
