Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is catching fire from MAGA supporters for \u2018gossiping\u2019 after she spilled details about a lunch with the president on the \u201cHang Out With Sean Hannity\u201d podcast.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Karoline Leavitt left her job as White House Press Secretary earlier this year. Her departure became public in August.<\/p>\n

It came less than a month after the 29-year-old returned from maternity leave following the birth of her second child. In a post on Truth Social, President Donald Trump said it was \u201ca decision I totally understand and respect.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKaroline has been one of the best White House Press Secretaries in the History of the Office. Thank you, Karoline, for a job well done,\u201d the president wrote at the time.<\/p>\n

Karoline Leavitt has left the White House, but she still continues to make headlines. A few days ago, she appeared on the Hang Out with Sean Hannity<\/a> podcast, where she revealed details about a particular meeting she and Donald Trump had.<\/p>\n

Leavitt spoke about Donald Trump\u2019s tense phone calls with foreign advisers, among other things, and detailed a special lunch with former British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.<\/p>\n

During the lunch with Starmer, at which she and Trump were guests, the president suddenly began criticizing Starmer for their \u201cstupid\u201d policies.<\/p>\n

Karoline Leavitt reveals details on Trump\u2019s \u2018tense\u2019 private meetings<\/h2>\n

\u201cI sat in on a lunch with the president and Starmer. And we\u2019re sitting around the table, and we\u2019re all enjoying lunch. And we were in this beautiful place. And the president just starts ripping into him for his policies,\u201d Leavitt said on Hang Out with Sean Hannity<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018Your policies here are so stupid. You need to close your borders,’\u201d Leavitt recalled<\/a>. \u201c\u2018You need to deport these people you have in your country. I know your country, I know your people, they hate what you\u2019re doing.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Further, the former White House Press Secretary said Donald Trump usually takes the same approach with allies and adversaries, and argued that what he told the media about his conversations with foreign leaders actually mirrored what really went on behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat he says to the media publicly is exactly what he\u2019s saying behind the scenes privately, too. In fact, much of what he says privately at some point is going to become public when he speaks to the press, because he\u2019s just candid, and he\u2019s honest,\u201d Leavitt explained.<\/p>\n

Karoline Leavitt said that while the president \u201ccurses a lot\u201d in general, he keeps his translator-assisted calls direct and professional.<\/p>\n

Brutally slammed for \u2018gossiping\u2019 by MAGA host<\/h2>\n

She moreover revealed that Trump pressed Chinese President Xi Jinping, during a meeting in South Korea, to buy more U.S. soybeans to support American farmers. It worked.<\/p>\n

\u201cSure enough after the meeting they did,\u201d she said. \u201cSo, he\u2019s always again advocating for what our country needs, what our people need, and he\u2019s unequivocal about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

While many appreciate Leavitt for explaining what really is going on behind closed doors, one MAGA fan isn\u2019t happy at all. Greg Kelly, host of the right-wing conservative television network Newsmax, blasted Leavitt for her openness.<\/p>\n

In a post, Kelly claimed it was a \u201cbreach of trust\u201d to both the president and the nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnbelievable. So now that she\u2019s an Ex press secretary, Karoline (with a K) Leavitt GOSSIPS about PRIVATE meetings the President had with world leaders? We\u2019re in the middle of MIDTERM MADNESS and Karoline (with a K) \u201cdishes\u201d Without a Care In the World. A BREACH of Trust: The President\u2019s, and the Nation\u2019s. So IMMATURE!!!!\u201d Kelly wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump has not commented on Karoline Leavitt\u2019s interview, nor has the former White House Press Secretary replied to Kelly\u2019s X comment about her openness.<\/p>\n
